FAQ

  • Most of the time we will require a non-refundable holding deposit to secure your booking. This deposit becomes credit towards your purchase.
  • Quotes are valid for 30 days.

  • We typically modify the headlights that the customer supplies us with.
  • If needed, we can source and supply OEM or aftermarket headlights for an additional cost.
  • There is no set price for headlight builds as there are many variables that can determine the price. As an indication, prices can range from $500 to over $3500 depending on options, complexity and service required.
  • All of our custom builds have a 6 month workmanship warranty. 
  • To avoid having the headlights sent in to us, we will first troubleshoot and resolve any issues remotely. If the headlights need to be sent in for warranty reasons, you will be responsible for shipping costs to us, while we will cover the return shipping.
  • If the service was for a drive in/out package we will cover the labour costs within 6 months of the original service date. After 6 months of the original service date, charges will apply to remove the headlights for any diagnostic or warranty work.
  • For warranty claims on components after 6 months of the headlights leaving us, there will be a labour charge to replace the component while the component itself may be covered depending on the manufacturers warranty. Customers are responsible for shipping costs both ways.
  • The warranty is for the original purchaser only, and not transferrable.
  • The warranty coverage will differ between products. This will depend on the manufacturer's warranty for that component.
  • We take all precautions to make sure condensation does not occur, but cannot guarantee it. If condensation occurs within 1 year of the original service date, we ask the customer to ship the headlights back to us. Any related shipping costs will be covered by the customer. If the customer decides to bring in the vehicle for us to remove the headlights, a service charge will apply.
  • If the service was for a drive in/out package we will cover the labour costs within 6 months of the original service date. After 6 months of the original service date, charges will apply to remove the headlights for any diagnostic or warranty work.
  • Aftermarket headlights will only have a 6 month condensation warranty due to their inconsistent quality.
  • The condensation warranty will be void If the headlight is opened and resealed by anyone other than iilumolab.
  • The warranty is for the original purchaser only, and not transferrable.
  • There are no warranties or coverage on the outer headlight lenses. Cracks and oxidisation is out of our control, and is deemed wear and tear by the manufacturer of those headlights.
  • We are not responsible for any component warranties if supplied by the customer.
  • If there is a warranty issue that requires the headlights to be removed/reinstalled by a third-party, we are not responsible for any of the costs involved.
  • Damage caused by improper installation or improper use.
  • Any modifications or tampering.

  • The customer is responsible for all shipping costs to and from our workshop.

  • We highly recommend "Signature on delivery" and insurance.

  • We are not responsible for any damages or loss that occur in shipping. If there are any damages or loss, a claim will need to be filed with the shipping provider.

  • The customer is responsible for any shipping or import fees.

  • We do not offer refunds or exchanges on any custom lighting builds.

  • Our service charges are non-refundable.

  • All custom light builds are for off-road use only which should never be used while on a public road.
  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that their vehicle is roadworthy and complies to the rules and regulations of their country and state.
  • iilumolab are not liable and does not hold any responsibility for any defects and/or infringements as a result of lighting modifications or services provided by us.
